Lameness

Yea this was him jumping at home when I wasnt doing a show that week. Hes very very keen and like I say he loves his job. He has never gone lame jumping. Until I know the issue I dont know if jumping triggers it off. He always goes unsound after a few days rest or flat rather than jump though which is weird. Like I say the unsoundness is very slight

Out of interest, what is your aim in just jumping one fence repeatedly and increasing the size?

Most professionals I know always jump a horse with a purpose and the intent is always to work on a particular exercise to improve technique.

I jumped it as many times as in the video. I just wanted to jump a bigger parallel before he went out jumping bigger classes and I wanted to get an idea of the ride to it. This thread isnt about how I decide to jump my horse at home anyway. I wanted a video to watch back and just get an idea of whats going on under neath me as hes a hot horse as you can most likely tell. I dont need to explain myself over the net. I am going to get this looked into now and shall keep the rest to myself. Thanks to those who gave me an insight into the area I wanted to learn more about
