Hi all,

Asking for a friend not on on the forum.

Can anyone let advise on the difference between the two? She has been recommended both for her metabolic horse and is unsure which is go with, she has friends who have their horses on both and have no issues etc.

Also looking on the lamicore website it says it has a calming affect but we can't see a calmer in it.

I am grumpy sod, but I would not feed the lamicore the basis they give amounts provided per kg, which is misleading.

More useful to give amounts you would feed a 500kg horse at their recommended dose. Cannot tell if it is a good spec or not from what you have posted depends on daily feed rate.

This is what forage plus does providing information on what you are actually feeding.

Forage plus have about ten different balancers, each with different specificaitons.

You say a metabolic horse? On grass or not? Forage plus have a specific balancer for horses not eating grass and on a restricted diet and prone to laminitis to top up deficiencies from from a restricted diet.
