Laminitis again.

So, pony has the dreaded lami again, he had it 2 years ago, and took a while to get through it, but we have been doing ok. I remember last time he was tested for EMS, and had to have some sort of syrup before a blood test to diagnos EMS. I only found out after I had got this from the vet, I could buy the syrup in Tesco for a 10th of the price!!! But what is it called???

You arent advised to do the glucose test while a horse has an active case of lammi unfortunately. I'm not sure any vet would want to get involved when the owner was planning on dosing themselves either.

Caro light syrup. My vets got me to buy some off the internet and as it only came I packs of 3 I 'sold' two bottles to my vets for them to use rather than them be wasted.
