laminitis and bedding???

Hi, my mare was diagnosed with laminitis today, so will be changing bed tomorrow, i have bought aubiouse, does anybody use this for their laminitics or would woodchip be better? vet said both ideal but wondered other peoples experiences??? Thanks.

I've never used it but it is bedded deep and can mould under the hoof for support I imagine so I'm sure it will be fine. For shavings a minimum of 4ins deep is best... No eating bedding either so another advantage of both.

I use Bedmax - on top of rubber mats. I have also used Easibed- both work well.
