Has anyone got it? I've never paid for an app before 😂
Is it worth £6.99? That's a cheap price to pay if it works but don't actually know anyone who uses it.

I use it - I have had it a few years (i'm sure it was cheaper when I bought it). I still use it a lot, I find it useful especially when the weather is erratic and its difficult to estimate with common sense what the sugar levels in the grass are doing.

Edited to say on the face of it it seems pretty accurate; my horses aren't shod and if they show any signs of 'feeling their feet' and I check the app, it is always reading high.

I have it too. Don't remember what I paid but also think it was less than £6.99. However I think it is well worth it at twice the price as it forewarns of potentially high sugar grass. I consult it several times a day and turn out accordingly. After my cob had laminitis last year I err on the side of caution. Out of interest mine is at 50% at present, nearly out of the green into the amber.

Laminitis is relatively new to me. I've had a Shetland for years and he's never been fat or showed any signs of footiness til last summer, he's just had a really footy episode with pulses after all this rain so I think it's time to really crack down and get a bit stricter.
Currently got him in a woodchip arena on very soaked hay and straw (which he's not impressed about!)

Which app are people using? My barefoot pony has been a bit footy walking on tarmac and is sensible enough to seek out the grass verge going to and from the field. He has a normal amount of heat in his feet and no pulses but I am checking daily just in case. He seems fine in his boots and is out at night with a muzzle on and in during the day but it would be really nice to know what the sugar content is so I can stop guessing.

I have it and find it gives me peace of mind. Generally it gives pretty sensible readings according to the weather and area so worth the money imo

I now use it as a good guide for me... Obviously you use a bit of common sense too but I think it's a good reminder for me!
I bought it earlier this year and for 6.99 I can't complain! At the end of the day I'd easily spend that on rubbish in tesco!!

I've got it. My mare has PSSM & i can pretty much guess that if she comes in from the field stuff & grumpy then it's in the red. It's been useful for me to understand the link between day + night temperatures, rain & sugar levels.

OH calls it the stressometer.
