Laminitis risk in grazing app.

Peeps on other forums are getting various readings which is to be expected. I believe it's based on local weather and temperatures so no reason for it not to work. Of course it will not 100% prevent laminitis, it is a guide to how dangerous your grazing may be. There are other factors involved apart from weather and temperature but it's a good basic and fairly reliable premise to avoid and reduce risk of laminitis and manage grazing time.

I got it earlier.. It's mainly a gauge that's linked to your location.. They apparently calculate the risk of heightened grass sugars wrt available environmental condition info as far as I can make out..

It's sunny here.. It's steadily dropped from orange risk to mid yellow as the afternoon has progressed.. Watching with interest..

Seems as much a tool as the met office weather app..
