My OH has an old series 3 landy. He absolutely loves it . Cheap to buy , easy to work on , great fun to drive and if you get one old enough .. is tax exempt as well .

How about one of those ?

We have a series 2a, excellent workhorse, its like a giant mechano set - easy to repair and replace bits. Tax exempt and only costs £100 a yr to insure on a classic policy. Go for it!

Can't beat a green oval motor. Plus if you get an older one if anything goes wrong parts are cheap & easy to fit yourself!!
Cant bare to think you would consider getting him anything else!!

its a diesel and surprisingly not thirsty....ok it cost me £82 to fill it up last week but that will last me 2 weeks and 500 miles so not bad at all. Best 'car' I have ever had
