Landrover - driver or design fault?

FTR, it's a 4wd thing. Suzuki Grand Vitara's are notorious for it, as are the Rollux...

Nissan whatstheirfaces don't have enough rear wheel traction to stay on snow...

In fact, I've never met a FWD that SOMEONE hasn't managed to crash.

So I'd say it's 110% the utter stupidity of the idiots driving who think they're immune to bad conditions because their car is a four wheel drive!

Ironic, as a 2wd with a driver with half a brain is 100 times safer!

as allready said, tyres are the main factor, another is understanding how to use 4x4, in a land rover, when the centre diff is locked in, it wont like going around corners and will try to slide straight on, in other jap part time 4x4's when you engage 4x4, the same thing happens! Most people will just engage 4x4 and think theyre invincible. As already said stopping them is another issue!

Land rovers are great vehicles but when it comes to a large sheet of black ice, they will still roll over or slip like any other vehicle no matter how carefully you drive as I found out:(
