My boy, below, is a Suffolk Punch Cross Cob standing at 15.3hh. I am having real problems finding tack that fits him. Does anyone else have this problem. I am looking for a running martingale or breastplate that can have an attachment. I have tried an extra full martingale and it still does not fit. Can any one suggest where to go ?

My only option if not is to have something specially made ! which I assume will cost me a fortune.

Please hekp me !
 
I imagine he's esp broad?
I have a 17.1hh MW and dont have so much problems finding tack for him.
Ebay shops do good XL stuff - try looking on there perhaps?

I would have thought if you got a breast plate but don't attach it to the saddle it would be big enough they are made wider than a martingale as they have to go further back towards the saddle if that makes sense
 
I have a Heather Moffett (sp!) extra large breastplate which fits my 17.1hh cyclesdale x! who is very chunky it is elaticated so gives him so extra room

Pricy though!
 
I bought a full breast plate with martingale from Cotswolds Sports for about £20 off Ebay. Its really good, and I would be pretty sure one would fit your horse. Mine is a 16.3 tb x, and its to big for him... everything is either on the last hole, or had a hole punched... I think I would have needed the cob size!!!
 
Take your martingale and add a flash strap to it. Take the buckle end of the flash attach it to the holey end of the martingale and attach the holey end of the flash to the buckle of the martingale, you could cut it to fit. Cheap solution
