I've done the pre-novice but it was about 5 years ago now!!! It was absolutely fine back then, relatively easy but I don't know how much it has changed since

I did the intro last year too, but remember walking the course thinking that both the pre novice and novice looked quite straight forward. I remember it to be quite a long course though.

i did the PN in 2006 (didnt make it the whole way round though) is quite straight forward much like the intro.. there is a corner, ditch to skinny roll top, bank from what i can remember...

It's a straightforward PN
The fence before the water can catch out babies as it's off a sharp turn with no room to get straight and kick, into woods just before the water. There's an easy corner and a nice combination of rail to arrowhead-

I did the PN last year, good galloping track, straight forwards, the hardest fence was the arrowhead combi as pictured above but hardly caused any problems, and wasn't on the course the year before. some fences were quite small! just a blinkin long way to get to the start!!!
