He has good strides; related distances always seem to be shorter with him, so must always make the proper jump at the first fence...
 
Stunning, amazing performance for such an inexperienced 5yo!! Many congratulations on producing him so well - he must have had a good deal of self-confidence to take that course on, although it looked like you were giving him a lot of help and support too

He really looks like the real deal, doesn't he, such an athlete, and such a rare combination of bold and careful! Agree he deserves a lovely rest now, but just imagine what he's going to be like next year - something to look forward to!!
 
Wow fantastic UncleJR. thats one nice horse, really hope you end up keeping him and going on to bigger things! As TD says- the real deal!

I love him he looks very scopey so I expect there is lots more good performances in this little chap. I especially like the xc vid where the bird of prey dips into shot, v professional wildlife camera man you have there!

He got confident with time, and training. Now we trust each other 100%; that’s what he makes me feel

However, as I said, I rode each fence as if I had a previous refusal; everything was new for him, and my greatest joy is that he behaved like a pro, listening to me, and trusting me in all my demands
