last nights Olympia

did anyone watch olympia last night on eurosports and see ben mahrs (spelling??) horse rear up?? really scared me he was so lucky not to hurt himself shows what a good rider he is

Yep i did, it went vertical, he did well to stay on.

What colour horse was it?

As saw him in the warm up at Hickstead and horse was near vertical at one stage - possibly the same one?

And for those who have seen the new warm up at Hickstead - the outer fence isn't actually that high

How did it stay up for so long? It just stood on its hind legs. He did very well to keep it balanced so it didn't go over backwards with him.

ermm it was a bay i think. it was very scatty and bolted off round the ring with him after it had reared mad thing

Yup, think that's the same one - was a bay at Hickstead.

As mate and I were just amazed at how quietly he sat on it

Yeh, I was there last night, just stood on it's back legs for ages! Was a bit of a nutter but Ben just sat there calmly!
