I am currently banned from spending on 'the b***** horses'

However, I have just ordered a new poo picker for the grand total of £18.99 including postage :D

I feel SO naughty.....now how to distract OH while the delivery happens!?

Anyone else making purchases today :D :D
 
At the weekend, I just popped into the tack shop for a bag of feed - and came out with several bags of stuff and a £100 poorer!

Pony is also in need of a new saddle & we have an appointment in two weeks - undoubtly, I will be significantly poorer then too! :D
 
Good point, I'm spending my first wedding anniversary next week in the (probable) rain watching OH in a triathlon.
Will be sure to bring this up if my muck scoop is frowned upon! :D

Plus, at 36 weeks pregnant, no one could POSSIBLY expect me to cope with just a SHOVEL!?

Just say you ordered it aaaaages ago and it's been 'lost in transit' or on back order! x

I go out with a thick bloke with no idea so get away with loads! x Could tell him a brand new albion saddle was 12 years old and he'd believe me! x Could probably get a new horse and tell him i'd always had it and he must of just not seen it and he'd say something thick like 'oh yeah, course, silly me!!' x :D

my first wedding anniversary is next week too!! please don't tell me yours is on Monday, that would be too creepy :D:D:D
 
i think my work lot think i have about 20 horses with the amount of stuff i have delivered here for them!! I still have to smuggle stuff past my beedy-eyed dad x
 
I do wish we had a like button on here. All your replies are so funny and so true. Of course, the main point the husbands and OHs miss is that horses and ponies are SO much more important than them, therefore, the Neds deserve lots of shiny new things!!
 
Ohh yes, I bought the white air cooled event boots yesterday promising myself that when they come on the daily deal bit I would get the black ones... Funny that day was today (now wish I waited to get the white ones today but hey ho)...

Also buying my jumping saddle tomorrow for the Ted. I am so excited finally I might be able to jump tomorrow. It better fit!!!! :D
 
it just never stops unfortunatly :S

two months ago i had the saddler out to re-flock my saddle and then decided i NEEDED a dressage saddle so bought one - without funds - enter the mother ;) she bought it and now i've bought it off her ;) the saddle that was re-flocked now needs to be traded in because i have finally decided that trying to jump in a show saddle is far to hard and i now NEED a jump saddle! but i am saving for this one - why are pay days so far apart!!

i have also got competitions planned for the next three weekends and competed the last three weekends too :(

i also need to stock up on a couple of rugs for winter . . .

my bank account is permanently empty!
 
I buy him so much. It's a problem. Just.got him some aircooled xc boots, but they were 20% off. Plus his entire winter rug collection! That's just this month! It's only the 4th, eek.
Oh is mostly in blissful ignorance :P
 
Mine always need stuff!! OH finds it astounding. He claims he will no longer buy me stuff for the horses at Birthdays and Christmas but instead I ask for money and spend it on them!! :p

You're 36 weeks pregnant and you're standing in the rain. Never mind watching someone run around.

I rather think you're under-selling yourself for a £20 poo-picker.

Picking up my custom made Albion tomoro! Yippie! :D

Have been putting money away for good few wks & rest of it coming out of my own personal credit union account so my other half doesn't know about the purchase:):rolleyes:

When I pick it up its going straight up to the yard so he doesn't see it:D
