Very saddened, but not that surprised.Enjoy this years.Suggest read the RASE site, they are looking positively.

Did wonder if they might be hoping there's be such an outcry that new funding might materialse - not specifically for the equestrian events, as it is supposed to be THE show for the agricultural world.

Yes, I've just done that. Note the website link in the Country Life article is wrong. Correct one is www.rase.org.uk.

I have spoken to The Royal show today - we are exhibiting there this year ( trade stand). they inform me due to huge public demand the show may well continue.
