Does anyone else think we've had a late flush of grass or even that we're still getting a flush? I've noticed things flowering, daisies, dandilions etc, surely we shouldn't be seeing it this time of year??

Also moved gelding onto a different field as current one a bit overgrazed and then when I rode him, he tried to tank off on a grass verge heading for home out on a hack, when I resisted and tried pulling him up he had a bucking fit, dropped his shoulder and spun! He's never done this in the eight months I've had him so wondering if the grass was a bit rich for him. Incidently, he is now back on his old field!!

October is another prime time for lami, because we always get a flush of grass then. Wet mild weather has alot to do with it.

I've still got the kid's pony in a muzzle 24 / 7.
