late foaling mare

we have a thoroughbred mare scanned in foal twice, late february foal movement was seen also in march,looking very well rounded when brought in from a day out grazing, a week late at the moment, not bagged up, a few days ago shown what looked liked being in season to her gelding friend in the next field. In at night observed by camera showing head movements towards her quarters quite often as though being disturbed by foal movements. She had a two weeks late foal last year......not sure whether she is still having a foal

Get the vet to come and do a rectal examination ,he will be able to tell you in about 10 seconds flat as foals head will be in the birth canal and he will be able to feel it very easily.

got any pics? they can go 3 weeksor so past theire 340-342 days, friends mare goes 3 weeks later as standard

Last year, our maiden mare was exactly 3 weeks late foaling. Our TB mare always foals 2 weeks early!
