HAS ANYBODY STARTED HAVING RIDING LESSONS AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN RIDING FOR YEARS AND YEARS?! I HAVE HAD/RODE HORSES FOR 30 YRS, CAN HANDLE THE MOST NAUGHTIEST OF HORSES, HAVE DONE MOST THINGS BUT AM AWARE THAT I DON'T REALLY KNOW HOW TO DO A LOT OF THINGS 'PROPERLY' - ON THE RIGHT LEG ETC. NOT THAT I'VE EVER BEEN INTO SHOWS OR ANYTHING - I JUST LOVE HORSES AND RIDING, JUMPING ETC FOR FUN.
WONDERED IF ANYONE HAS DONE THIS AND HOW DID THEY FEEL... I'M QUITE KEEN REALLY (HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL MY HORSE HAS FULLY RECOVERED FROM VIRUS - SO HAVE TIME TO MAKE UP MY MIND). JUST WONDERED IF PEOPLE HAD FOUND IT EASY OR NOT?

I can't hear you!

I used to teach a lot of people like this when I was freelancing, some were willing and loved it others were proper traditionalists and out to argue! So if you do go for it, be open minded

not as much has changed as you probably think!

I've had ponies/horses for 14yrs and still have lessons but see it more as training than teaching. I love having my lessons and look forwrad to them. The pros still learn and train from other people so why shouldn't we?

Yep me i've just started having lessons i had a few when i was younger but thats it and i've had horses for years!!

Im not sure if its helping thou to be honest i now feel i cant ride lol!!!

I was always told (money permitting) that you should never stop having lessons.
I started again a few years ago (after about a ten year break) and I love it, you always learn something new.
