ok we have had a failed vetting, a ugly horse ( who wasnt that ugly, but was too big and too laid back) now we have

Sarcoids?
i am going to see a horse who looks lovely and sounds just right for me, however he has inactive sarcoids on his sheath and one on his chest, he is 6 years old, is this a big problem, should i be worried?
Hope you lot are not too fed up with my saga yet but you do come up with some bloody good advice

If sarcoids don't get in the way of tack (sheath and chest don't sound too bad, depends where it is on chect I suppose for a maringale/breatplate) and don't bleed I really don't see a probem tbh.
My mare has on her eye, a few on her teats, no affects on her performance.

my 5yo has 2, one on his sheath and one of his belly and they don't bother him, we have been treating them with cream the vet gave us and they are already starting to come off, i think they aren't a problem unless they are where they might be rubbed by tack because then they can burst and get infected.
