Latest time i can top a field?

Hi,

I was wondering the latest time of year i could top field i was thinking perhaps end of July/begin of Aug to get rid of clumps and docs etc. I want some time left for grass to grow on a bit..

I normally do mine at beginning of August for exactly that reason. Always been fine - loads of time for grass to grow and helps keep it level/get rid of weeds etc.........

It's normally done when the ponies are all off at PC camp!

You can do it at any time, but for docks you should try and get them before the seed, ideally I spray any clumps and then a few days later go and top them
