This seems to be the nearest to us and I want to go hunting this winter!

I've never been so would like to know what to expect. What's the ground like? And jumping? How do I get in contact with them? They don't have a website.

Also, when does cubbing start? It must be fairly soon?

hi, try 01896860648- sec is/was Mr I.R.Scott Aiton- not sure how up to date this is- good luck.

Thanks! No email address or website? Otherwise I'm going to have to actually phone him and I hate phoning people! :o

Do hunts have a kind fo information pack they can send out? Otherwise I'm going to have to have a long listen of sensible questions to ask!

im afraid you will have to ring- these are up to date, just looked in Bailys. hunts dont normally do info. packs but all i can do is give you more numbers, they normally meet on tuesdays and saturdays.if there is an email address, i am not aware of it- sorry.

Hi There

Just seen your post. Here are some details; Hon Sec 01896 860648 or lauderdalehunt@yahoo.co.uk, we are in the process of setting up a website, which we hope will be running by mid November 2010 the address is www.lauderdalehunt.co.uk

As Baily's mentions we hunt on a Tuesday and Saturday meeting at 10.45, we are always pleased to see new faces and offer a reduced cap for newcomers.

Hope to see you out sometime soon!

Thanks for the reply. I eventually emailed the secutary who was extermely helpful and we were all set to join a cubbing until bloody stupid horse got a foot abcess then just as he healed the other bloody stupid horse sliced her leg open. She's now healed too but it'll take a while to get them fit again - the terrible weather and dark nights are sapping my enthusiasm and motivation for keeping them fit :o
