I have just been looking at all the lovely tidy after shots of the wood pellet beds and thinking how nice it would be to see before and afterfor all different types of bedding. No I don't get out much! So shavings, straw, hemp, paper, how do your beds look?
Also, laying the perfect bed, top tips please, mine always look slightly unlevel and scruffy, how do folks get those lovely neat banks and level beds.

Just got in from doing mine - think I spend longer laying their beds than I do mucking them out! No pictures to hand - they are both on miscanthas and I level the bed by sweeping the back of a shavings fork from side to side and pat down the banks so they're perfectly flat on top and level all the way round! Then I sweep the front square too.
What a saddo I am!
I'm on a working farm too - not even like its a posh yard to keep tidy! Oh well, I'll always have my standards, and whilst the farm may be a mess, I know my stables are perfect! Lol!
