Right, little woman is out of heartbars and barefoot on the advice of the farrier, he believes this is the best route for her. She's been shod on all four for 20 years so this is the first time we've had nudey feet. She has boots with pads for stones and I think she's getting a little sore in heels on concrete so gonna boot for concrete too. Sound on sand and shavings. She's fully retired and currently not one on grass
5 degrees pedal bone rotation in this foot. And severely pigeon toed. This foot has suspected abscess but we think its just heel bruising from off loading with other abscess. Still little bit sore round heel
7 degrees rotation, severely pigeon toed again, had a bad abscess track up coronet band and burst there. All clear now. Heels are pretty contracted and we hoping on growing a nice frog eventually
Backs
Sorry photo quality bad, she was bored of me by now!
Lighting isn't great in stable but it was absolutely piddling it down!
Spoilered for massive photo size most likely, on my phone.
Diet is fast fibre, soaked hay and salt licks. Waiting for pro hoof to come next week.
If these photos are wrong way, I'm gonna cry.
