Yes I have used it for a couple of years as they are very local to us. Great product and I only top up about a bale a week on rubber flooring. Compared to normal shavings I find I use a lot less laysoft.
Yes I've tried a bag of this recently I think (if its in a white bag and made by Arden Woodshavings) for my baby colt and it was a heavy bag, dust free and lasted him a week in a decent sized stable (he has a full thick bed on matting) and it lasted a week without needing a top up, for the price (approx£5.75) it was fine and I'd definitely consider using it again for him, I would question if it would go far enough in the bigger horses stables though. On the other hand I can pay a pound odd per bale more and get huge dutch shavings that the other horses have!
