Can you help please? I went to buy a pair today but the shop had no stock in my size. I am now trying to buy some online, but am getting confused between the styles.

The cheaper is the Vierzon, which is the non-lined version. The ones I tried today are the Vierzonord, which are neoprene lined but more expensive. I now don't know which to order! They will be for year-round wear for work and for doing the horse's, plus course-walking etc.

Any recommendations?

With the neoprene you will NEVER have cold feet again......even if only wearing one pair of lightweight socks in the winter! The downside is that the warmth can be a bit OTT in the warmer months if we ever get a wet, warm autumn. I compromised and got the leather lined ones......they are many years old, so can't tell you what model they were.

The people in the shop said if I wanted to wear them all year the lined ones would probably be a bit hot in the summer. So I went for the cheaper ones and I put thicker socks on if it's cold. I live in them unless I'm riding and am really happy with them

I have the cheaper unlined ones. 6 years of almost daily abuse and they are still going strong. I've never had cold feet even in deep snow (but I do put two pairs of thin socks on for snow).

I have the neoprene lined ones- I adore them- I wear them ever day all year- both for the yard and dog walking, my feet get a little warm in the depths of summer but I tend to wear them when there is dew on the ground / rain in summer for dog walking so it's usually cooler and have never had problems- if sunny and totally dry the walking boots come out. I was told that neoprene wellies tend to last longer anyway because the thickness of the neoprene prevents the wellies from creasing as badly so they are less likely to split. My le chameau wellies are 10 months old and look like new!

I also have the neoprene ones; can get a bit hot in summer but I think that of all wellies. They are good in winter but in the snow I need two pairs of socks.

Mine are about 3 years old and the tread is starting to wear now. I only wear them about 3 times a week but I do walk about a lot in them when I am wearing them.

I've had my neoprene lined ones about 10 years and they're only just starting to go (although they're not leaking, just showing a crack where they bend). I don't wear them very much in summer but haven't noticed them being hot. That said, if you're someone that suffers from cold feet or chilblains in winter they are a must buy! I would never go back to unlined wellies now, my feet used to be like blocks of ice no matter how thick the socks. When mine do finally start to leak I will be buying another pair. :)

I have the neoprene lined ones and they are fabulous but will be to hot in the summer. I wore mine after some summer rain to walk the dogs and when I took my breeches off at night my false tan had melted off and I had white skin from my ankles to my knees.( not a good look:) )

I ordered neoprene ones last winter to work in - 4 am milking u need warm feet! I sent them back a week later as I had freezing cold feet with wet patches on my socks. Apparently they didn't leak when submerged in cold water but they couldn't explain it as I do not have sweaty feet, never have had, hence the need for warm boots!

I got the unlined ones and stick a sheepskin insole in. They're v light and comfy for the feet if you're running about all day. Saving for the full zip leather ones now :)

I've got neoprened ones. I still wear welly warmers with them in the depths of winter. But even in summer, my feet resemble a corpses!

This happened to my sister but never to me ( and we bought ours at the same time). She ended up sending hers back and they were replaced with a new pair that didn't do this; so definitely a fault.
