Is the course demanding? Because from what I have seen (which isn't very much, admittedly) it doesn't look too strenuous?

it is tough enough and you dont really get the crowd effect on the video, they are very close and very loud so quite off putting for yonger horses.

Claytons ride seemed to be going very well or was it one of/or the last rounds which i think was a portugese (sp!) rider and would be Duarte Seabra!?
