I just got a new monoflap jumping saddle & I have a short dressage girth HERE which is fine but I kinda wanted to investigate other styles as I have a few quid to buy a new girth and also if there is a different style that suits jumping saddles better.

I saw the new Le Mieux Gel Tek girths in a local saddlery and was really surprised at how soft and lovely they were! I used to have Prolite (both short and long ones) for my older horse but when I got my new horse I just couldnt get on with the fit on him and there was rubbing and all sorts of just ugh so I sold them both!

These seem similar shape but does anything have any experience with them - what the fit is like etc or have any other recommendations of girths that work well for jumping monoflap saddles!

How much is a quid?? Coming from the U.S
I really like leather ones with a chest guard, especially if your horse brings his legs up to his chest often.

Unfortunately I wouldnt be importing from the US to Ireland as the customs would make it more than a few quid :p;) So if you see the price of the Le Mieux ones, thats approximately around my budget!

That one is a full jumping girth but I'm looking for a monoflap saddle jumping girth so not a long girth - a short one. And I dont need a stud guard! :D
