le mieux rug liners

has anyone used other brands of liners under le mieux rugs? i bought one since it was on sale, and rather than have multiple rugs everywhere i’d rather buy a liner for when it’s colder - ideally now whilst everything is on sale!

if i can get away with it i’d much rather get a derbyhouse one or similar, cheap and cheerful.

if they don’t fit properly i’ll probably just suck it up and get the proper one, i can’t be bothered faffing with sewing the rings on in different places or anything lol but i’ve got a list in my notes of which liners fit which rug brands (saddo i know) so i’d like one that’ll work with any others i may get!

ps. for anyone who saw my other thread about turnout rugs…i don’t wanna talk about it

The Derby house ones work on my shires and weatherbeeta rugs I have a swish liner that works as well.

The Derby house liners are really nice I've got a 50g and 100g for Louis they fit nicely, they are not much different to the shires ones I've got those as well.

i know! but i can’t find anything that says if they’ll fit under le mieux rugs

I just clip them to the fillet rings, the tabs don't exactly match up at the front on an Amigo bravo but they don't seem to move if clipped up at the back.

If you already have a weatherbeeta just compare the back rings to the le mieux one, I only really clip them on at the back and they don't move.

this is so smart!! i don’t have a weatherbeeta one bcos i’ve actually just sold the one i bought since it doesn’t fit but i’m sure i can find someone on the yard who has one thankyou!x

Find someone that has the shires tempest or weatherbeeta and compare as they are what I use with mine.
