it's fantastic, have had a go and really enjoyed it. People really friendly too. Jill Perry runs a lot of Trec stuff in Essex, if you google Trec you will get diary dates in essex and her contact number will come up. If you have any probs getting details let me know and I can look them up.

im trying to go to a training day on the 10th, finding transport is proving very difficult... if you have your own transport then go for it.
i didnt find any in essex?!! would love to know the details.

I've done a couple of unaffiliated pairs events, and it was great fun. I'd love to do more, but without transport there's nowhere close enough
Orienteering the first time we didn't get lost, but were too slow on the times. The second time we (and quite a few others) went the wrong way, but still had a good time, and figured it out eventually.
Control of paces - practice cantering slowly in a straight line, and walking back as fast as you can.
Obstacles - We had to lead and ride up and down a slope, rein back , negotiate an s-bend of poles, bend as fast as we could, go over a bridge, and then have the horse stand in the centre of a circle for 30 secs, whilst you stay outside the ring. She was very good at the standing still

oo i judged twice when we had it at our yard... i could try and help, although i don't know that much.
I judged the canter corridor and the.. can't remember the other! lol

me too...... did one at chandlers cross outside watford and had loads of fun..... Sid did the weaving thingi with beautiful flying changes..... shame I can't get him to repeat the moves in the school!!
