What is the done thing for, child? mum and pony.

I have noticed a growing fashion for blue trilby and long skirt and boots for mum, but not every one wears this.

Is there any literature I can pick up.

I never did this as a child, PC and RC is my thing, but would like to get Daisy into the competitive world, as she is growing more aware of what she can do

Hi there, fashion changes from year to year and it is very easy to look over the top in lead rein classes. Why don't you go to a few shows and see if there are any outfits that you really like and could see yourself wearing and perhaps go home and try and match it. Ebay do sell complete leadrein outfits and as for your daughter, it is whether she is riding a leadrein show pony, show hunter pony or mountain and moorland type as to whether she wears navy or tweed! It is a bit of a mindfield i'm afraid....but the only advise i can give is that whatever you and your daughter wear, you must feel comfortable. Good luck XX
