To squeeze in a last minute practice before blair, mum has entered my little brother in to a unaffiliated intro dressage test- AKA how to torture your sister! Pony is very responsive to me and my brother is able to ride with out his 'monkey bar' and is getting used to steering and has reasonably good balance for his age- must have a good teacher
I was thinking about not using the lead rein and just having the pony listening to Nathan but she will still know to walk when i walk etc.. or will i just use the lead rein??
Also, on the right rein do i go on the track or the pony??
Anyone had any experiences lead rein dressage? If so feel free to share and give me some tips
Here's a photo of us three at the highland this year where we came 6th in the HOYS class out of 50!
