I am in the middle of my TB's rehab programme which involves a great deal of walking out in hand on country lanes. The cold weather has meant that I would really like to be wearing gloves but , if I do, every single one of my many lead ropes becomes slippery to varying degrees. Can anyone recommend a grippy lead rope so I can keep my gloves on? Thank you!

If you're walking in hand on public roads please use a bridle and reins.
I would use a bridle, 2 people, one at each side, but a long rope so if they go up, you can be out if range.

I would not use reins to walk out for rehab, as they are just the correct length to get dragged underneath if they go right up.

I would use grippy gloves, such as workman's winter ones, they are grippy in the extreme.

He is walked out in one of these: https://horseeducation.co.uk/
I am on small lanes, barely any traffic.
To answer question, Grippy gloves.
But, just glanced at the website photos, and could not believe anyone turned a foal out wearing that design of halter - soooo easy for foal to scratch its ear with hind foot and get hooked up - broken limb in a trice.
Please don’t, anyone!
