Had a fab hack this morning - lovely canter, went past lady cutting a bush who had arranged lots of scary white things along the lane with no probs - UNTIL, on the way home i asked for trot on the stubble field and HE BUCKED!!! Admittedly it was an excited little buck...... but even so!!!
Also have got to give in and clip him as he was soaked in sweat when we got back, i was hoping to get away with it but when i put him in the stable to untack him i took my eye off him for just a mo and he rolled with his saddle on!!! Naughty boy! I have never had this happen to me before and i just managed to rescue the saddle, but ive learned my lesson - TAKE THE SADDLE OFF FIRST!!!
Feel a bit wobbly as i truned him out without his rug on as he was sooo hot and trhe weather is so mild and he is a bit fluffy- just praying he wont get too cold by the time i get up to the yard to get him in at 5 tonight x

He'll be fine!! Its not that cold today and our lot havent been clipped and they're not rugged yet either!!!

sounds like he was a good boy though!!!

Cheeky boy!

I'm trying to get away with not clipping Monty but I don't think it's going to work and he's terrified of the clippers
