Has any one any experience in that when learning their horse to do reign back learns it to fall instead. well I decided bout time my four year old could do some sort of reign back as had been asked for it at a show in june and couldn't. so put bridal on in field and asked her to step backwards using reigns as I would but voice command and encouragement when needed. we were backing up great. so got on bare back, and warmed up bit walk to trot and halt transitions get her listening. and then stoped her in middle field and asked for reign back went back two strides, she sort of tilted her head, I put slight more pressure on and she falls like a trained stunt horse, so graceful. got back on bare back and asked her again and she done same thing. so gave up did more work on ground and she did it fine. any ideas on how to correct this, as shes being sold how would I explain that when asked for reign back she thinks she has to fall. I am going to get the long reigns out and have a go that way.
