Learning to drive?

Well my oh has expressed an interest in scurry driving! So being the good wife I am im thinking of getting him some driving lessons for christmas, thought some proper lessons would be a good place to start? I dont know anyone who drives but have found a place called Scropton where he could have lessons? Anyone know if they are any good or can you point me in the direction of another good place? Any other tips you can pass on would be gratefully recieved.

It's not scurry driving, but I notice you are in Derbyshire so you would be very close to Karen Bassett if you were interested in carriage driving instead, as I know she gives lessons.

Afraid I don't know of any scurry driving places though!

Scropton used to be very good (not saying they're not now, but haven't been there for years!). they're also the local riding for the disabled centre (Do you remember Jet the horse that Blue Peter bought years ago? that's where he was I think) Strangely enough, my other half wants driving lessons as well for xmas and that's where i'm going to send him. They've got a good web site if you google to find it.

We saw Karen driving 4 in hand down the road the other day!! Im not sure he would want to do carriage driving tbh, i think a small pony to whizz round would be his style lol! Although he needs to learn first! I think Scropton it is then! Thanks guys
