Hello,

Just looking for some recommendations for leather chaps/gaiters for every day. I currently have some Ariat Close Contact chaps which i love but the zips keep ging and at £80 a time i dont think i can justifty another pair really. I would like something similar as they are not too bulky and mould to the leg well - what are your experiences of the other Ariat chaps?

I need some which do a wide variety of sizes as i have quite long legs.

Any suggestions?
 
I have tried a few but keep going back to the ones you have.
Never had a zip go on mine and wear for everyday riding.

I wonder does anyone know if you can get leather gaiters with brown/oxford tops?
 
Interesting - i love mine but it is getting to the point where i have to tape them up on one leg! I would not say they are overly tight to burst open either.
 
I love my ariat cc chaps, and the zips haven't gone yet. Have had little bits of stitching repaired by the local cobbler for a couple of quid but thats all, and OH has had a couple of little patches on the inside of his, again v cheaply.

Would def buy another pair, and he would too.

I will have a look around and see what others are around if not i will go back to my old faithfuls!! May just have to re-think on sizes or something although i dont think it is because they are actually that tight tbh. I will have to live with taping them up atm as cant afford a new pair yet!
