I'm not sure if this is the best place to put this, but I have some leather welly/country boots that are great, apart from the soles have a full width horizontal crack on both feet, which a) makes them questionably waterproof and b) is getting worse and causing the sole to start lifting away from the boot. Obviously they aren't going to last very much longer as they are, so I either need to replace them or try and get them resoled. I'd prefer to be able to resole them than have to buy a new pair if possible. Does anybody know if they can be resoled, and if so, where and how much? All the local cobblers have closed down and the guys at the local branch of Timpson weren't able to give me an answer as to whether it's possible or not. I've seen that you can get DIY kits, but I don't trust that I can successfully manage that!
Thanks,
