Leather Gaiters-what stand to aim for at Badders?!!

I am hoping to get myself some leather gaiters and I guess joddie boots to go with them as my mountain horse paddock boots aren't exactly classy!
Any suggestions without breaking the bank? I have wide-ish calves and short legs (yippee what a fab combination!

I want to have a more secure feeling round my legs as leather boots would give you rather than my flimsy cheapo half chaps where i might as well be wearing long socks over my jodhpurs!
I want to bag a bargain at Badminton!

I too have short (ish) legs and wide (ish) calves, I got medium short ones and they fit me like a glove! Better than any boots ever have!

I'm pretty sure a big name like Ariat are going to be knocking about at Badders...

I'm just using a cheapo pair of jod boots that I bought in a local tack shop for about £25!

I think the Ariat gaiters are cheap, considering the price of a pair of boots!

I bought the gaiters online with CountrySupplies, but I know Ariat have dealers throughout the UK, a tack shop near me sells Ariat gear, but they don't always have the right sizes in stock and I don't like to wait for orders!

I'd imagine Ariat will be at Badders anyway!

By the way, I found a company in the USA that sells Ariat boots online, and I emailed them to enquire about shipping costs to the UK... even with the shipping added, their prices are shed-loads cheaper than I've seen in UK shops or on online UK shops!
