Just wondering how leather gloves should be cleaned without making them slippy? Have tried baby wipes - BAD IDEA!

Had absolutely no grip when I was using them afterwards - would just plain water damage the leather or are there any other ways to clean them? Thanks in advance

I bought some Lincoln leather shampoo stuff that I washed mine in and then dried naturally and they were fine - not crispy!!

lol, i found an old glove which was stiff it hadnt been worn for so long, and i rashly thought a bit of oil would sort it out, it stank of rancid oil for ages, the other one turned up and i just wore them and the one i didnt oil went soft again (plus theyre 2 diff coulours, im such a brainbox sometimes
