I'd like to get a nice pair of leather half chaps, preferably brown, not too pricey either, I do love the Tredstep ones but might be a bit pricey just for wearing around the yard and riding at home in, do you guys have any recommendations?

And nice short boots to go with them, just the plain pull on type or zip up ones?

Thank you!

loved my Tredstep ones. Wore them all the time at the yard, had them years and they still look in great condition when I got rid of them (about 10yr old) theyre well worth the money.
Re joddie boots - i buy Elite ones. About £60 a pair I think but again last ages.

oh you really shouldnt have told me that - i want some new chaps etc and was looking at buying the new tredstep boots and gaiters. Damn you druid!!

Does anyone know what $135.99 and $128.50 convert to in pounds?

CastleMouse,

Just Chaps (justchaps.co.uk) do brown and black leather half-chaps, you can buy them in ready made sizes or they do a made to measure service! If you look at their website, in the links down the left side of the page, there's the Leather link (natch), or the Reality Range (for the made-2-measure).

Equitector (equitector.co.uk) also do nice jodhpur boots and paddock boots, pull on and zip up, they are also reinforced and have a special climate control system, i.e. warm in winter, cool in summer! bit like air conditioning for your feet!
