I got mine from ebay just buy your own headcollar and get the engraved plates theyre ded easy to fit just punch a hole in headcollar with a hole punch and the plates come with screw in fixings

Following up on a rather old thread! I bought the Richardson one for my friend and she was delighted with it. The leather is beautiful and the quality is very good. So much so that I got one myself as a 30th birthday present from my brother - hopefully something to keep forever (and my lovely old boy looks great in it). Would recommend it if anyone is looking for similar

This is so touching.. makes me think I should buy one of those beautiful brasstack ones for my boy. He's 21 and retired though because he's a crock, but he's beautiful and he's my first horse so I love him dearly!
Hopefully my friend's boy is also deserving of a swanky headcollar but in December I'm not sure I could stretch to £95.... but we shall see!

I have removed the nameplates from all my headcollars of lost horses (all my horses get a leather headcollar with a nameplate the day they arrive home), and have had them polished and framed underneath a shoe. Front shoe from each horse I've lost, polished and treated to prevent rush, and then in a black box frame with the name plate underneath.

I love them, and they make me smile every time I walk past

ETA - I LOVE the Brass Tacks headcollars, they're definitely worth the money, and they are incredibly fast. I ordered my last one with nameplate engraved a few months ago, and it arrived the next day!
