Leather headcollar

I want to get a smart leather headcollar for my boy. He is dark bay with a stripe - I dont mind if its a dark chocolate leather or black but his tack is black. I would like a padded noseband and across the poll with supple, soft leather.

I have a decent budget as would like something that will last a while

Can anyone recommend anything?

Equiport do really good quality headcollars www.equiport.com, these are definate upper end of the price scale, otherwise Derbyhouse Saddlery for cheaper versions.

I bought one from ebay, not an expensive one but soft leather, smart looking and has nameplate. It has lasted me 2 years through rearing (and trying to pull him back down to stop him going over backwards), being dragged (me not the headcollar), rubbed on against a wall, hardly cleaned and being dumped on the floor and still going strong. My mates expensive £70ish one broke when her horse backed out of a trailer and reared.
