The mothership had a lovely pair of long boots made-to-measure a good few years ago. Now that she doesn’t compete and my calves seem to have slimmed to the point that I can get into them
I’d like to keep using them for both sentimental and £ reasons at the mo! However, while they’re mostly in great nick, there is a patch on both where the outer needs serious attention (I think they may have been stored in less than ideal conditions for a couple of years).
Will try to get a pic later but it’s on the area that’s crinkled where the foot joins the leg of the boot, i.e. where there’d be laces if they had them. The issue is that the very top, thin layer of the leather has started to crack/peel. Is there anything anyone can suggest to help me save them? Thanks, all x
