Our tack room gets very damp in winter, but hot and dry in summer. I need to replace my cleaning stuff this year, so I may as well get something to sort out both problems.

Thanks - I couldn't remember the name of the chemical!

Is this it? I've also seen they do a wash that you can put in the washing machine which would be just the job for my favourite but filthy leather jacket - dare I try it?

My mare brought a disgusting saddle with her that was thick with mould and smelt to high heaven. I could see it was a nice saddle underneath, so I rose to the challenge and used surgical spirit all over it to get rid of the mould and smell. It came up quite well when I'd set to with Horseman's One Step and saddle soap, and made I nice tidy sum when I sold it on eBay - the buyer was thrilled with it! But I often wonder if it stayed OK in the long term or if I'd killed it!
