I have a bridle and breastplate that I had for my first horse-it was bought in Portugal and isn't the best leather but not the worst either. I've not looked after it well (couldn't bear to use it or sell it) and has mostly been hung up in tack room for about 8 years. Today I tried them both on the Fell and they look good (its the brass buckles ;) ) but they are stiff and need some tlc. Oakwood conditioner doesn't seem to be doing anything but I know oil is considered bad-would Ko Cho Line do it, or something else?

Ko cho line will do a good job on it, I have used it to restore some pretty dire looking stuff and it brings it back nicely. I try to be good these days and treat leather before storing it but it doesn't aleays work out that way...
