Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone elses horses have started leaving their bucket feeds?
My mare is out 24/7 and for the past 4 afternoon feeds she's left some. She eats her morning food and her hay. Was wondering if there might be any grass coming through yet filling her up? We're in Cornwall so milder than most areas. I've already cut her hard feed down so might need to cut it down again!

I'm up in North Yorks and there seems to be a little bit of green coming through (yay). The trees are certainly budding so I expect the grass is growing too!! Mine actually left a bit this morning which is very unusual. If you're in cornwall, where the conditions are far better than here, sounds likely that she's getting more from her grazing.

Does sound that shes getting enough from other sources, either that or our 4 legged long tailed friends are finding their way into her feed buckets and leaving an unpleasaant trail which puts her off. Found a mouse in one of our horses feeds, no wonder she wouldnt eat it!! (and it had a bucket cover on)
