Im going to have to ask for the subscription for xmas as I always want to read it but my local saddlery NEVER has it in stock! they must get like 2 each mth or something!

It was about withdrawals and how they are a lottery depending on the organiser. I also asked Maloo if I could use Millbrook Song as an example as Keysoe refused to give her any money back from when she concussed herself.

I am working from home as have spent the morning catching dormice and am now having lunch before doing a report for work! Have to go to Drs later for anti-malarials, but am about to sign in to work emails to start said working from home so will reply!

Well said lec. I had a letter puplished in eventing a couple of years back along a simular line after I had to withdraw from a three day. In return i got a rather nasty letter from the organiser

Some events are great at refunding if you have a good reason. Milton Keynes were great this year when I had to withdraw.

dont ever buy eventing now on matter of principle but am sure you said it very well and about time someone did. if i see it in a shop i will read it there!

I wonder if they will ever dare ballot you out of B and W in future though, hopefully they will see sense and give you a refund of your entry fee.
It is unfair, and your entry should be part refunded less admin costs.

Article looks good - thanks - it will be interesting to see if BE picks it up and runs with it? The sooner there is some consistency regarding withdrawals the better!!
(We did write to Keysoe again regarding the fact we had to withdraw due to the medical suspension - but they did not have the decency to even reply!!!)
