You should read this book it is marvelous.
It made me cry - a lot . It also made me laugh out loud and I enjoyed every page! I was lucky enough to meet the author Peter DeCosemo and when he told me the outline of the story, I must admit to being a little doubtful thinking it would tip over into sentimentality, but it didn't - I loved it , Thank you Peter what a story, well told, exciting, moving, original quite amazing. Please give it a go you wont regret it at all !!

I would like to be able to write an outline but I would not do it justice, pop along to www.ledbythegrey.com and let Peter speak for himself. I know I will read this book again and just wanted to share it with you all.

I have read it and I think it is a brilliant story. Kept my interest all the way through, and was quite touching in places without getting too sentimental. Loved the ending. Excellent book in my opinion!

I enjoyed it, and gave it to a few friends last Xmas, ranging in age from 65 to 13 and they all enjoyed it too.

Yes you are right I think it would make a good film.... Id love to see the chaos of the royal inspection that went wrong, I laughed for days about that !!

Oh I just found this thread.

Loved it as well. I agree Hard to describe the outline, but a great read. Horses, mystery, history, good v bad..it's pretty much got the lot! I'm on the mailing list and got word it's now digital if anyone wants it.
