Hi, trying to trace a place where an old friend of mine mentioned going for some nice off road riding, she said you parked in the 'middle' and had loads of off road riding and I have the impression that it was some sort of manor house?? (She is no longer at my yard and is very poorly and just had to sell her horse so do not want to ask her). It wasn't Harewood. Failing that specific place anywhere good where you can parka big wagon at and have some good canters? (We are in Harrogate)

There is the chevin, also used to be a brilliant long gallop on way from Bramhope through to Esholt but I don't know if that is still there or where you would park a wagon. Harewood is really the only good one I know of this side of Leeds!

My horses are near the back entrance to temple newsham theres some nice out riding round there grounds we enter frm Bullerthorpe Lane near the old tip site. Sadly need to back my newbie before i can go riding round again lol But when hes goign would be happy for you to park up at our yard and ride out with you am the only rider most of the time on our yard its mainly pony pets and retired neds :-)
