really as title says. My new yard is a lot larger and therefore the arenas more busy!
just need to clarify this rule just so i know exactly what im doing and dont have a run in with anyone lol!!!
thaks in advance

I was always led to believe you pass left to left and if you are going in a slower pace than others to take the inside track, someone else may correct me though.
Hope you settle quickly at your new yard.

I was always taught it's left to left :) So if your going clockwise, your on the inside track. And when going anti clockwise, on the outside track.

The normal rule is that you pass left to left in a school. So if you are on on the left rein and someone was appraoching you on the right rein then you would expect them to pass you on the inside track, so that you are passing each other left hand to left hand.

If you were on the right rein and someone was coming towards you on the left rein then you would be expected to come on to the inside track to pass by them, again you will be passing left hand to left hand.

Make sure that you check the school rules at the yard thought as they maybe different. You can always ask someone there already just so that you know for sure :)

You should always pass left hand to left hand. If you are walking, you should walk on an inner track and you should also halt off the track. Lateral movements have priority of the track over everything else.

Shout when turning to a jump to give others warning.

And watch out for those doing lateral work, as that has right of way regardless of right or left.
