Hi,

I put clay on my horse's front legs after hunting and usually make sure his legs are clean, put it on and then bandage over the top. I just wondered how others do it. Is there a way of keeping it moist i.e using cling film round the legs over night?

How do others do it?

Thanks.

Hi

I clay then soak thick brown paper and wrap it round wet then fibergee (sp) and bandage, really not a fan of clingfilm it can pull tight and cut in, have you seen how strong it is if you roll it up

The benifit of the brown paper is that if you want after a couple of hours you cn remove bandages hose the leg with the clay and paper and re apply for the night

Thank you everyone - I had a sudden flash of inspiration on Sat after hunting to use clingfilm but found the legs were quite warm after taking the bandages off yesterday morning. I saw a friend use her number sheet after eventing and thought that was a good idea!!
